Empty containers that once held chemicals remain hazardous waste on paper until they reach an authorised recycler. Are you a recycler or a scrap trader?
We are a GPCB-authorised recycler with our own decontamination unit at Vasna Buzarg, Kheda. Our Consent & Authorisation number is GPCB/CCA-KH-1208 and our Hazardous Waste Authorisation is AWH-140605. You can verify both with GPCB.
Can I sell empty chemical drums to a local scrap dealer?
No. Empty drums, carboys and IBC tanks that held hazardous chemicals are classed as hazardous waste under the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016. They must go to an authorised recycler and travel with a manifest. Selling them to an unauthorised dealer leaves the liability with your plant.
What documents do I get with each load?
A weighment slip and purchase invoice for every load, and a manifest for hazardous waste loads. Our authorisation numbers are printed on our documents for your audit file.
How do I get a price?
